BIOGRAPHY

Brandon Armstead is a postdoctoral fellow at Rhode Island Hospital–Brown University Health, developing novel nanoparticle-based therapies for patients with bacterial sepsis. His research focuses on using gene-silencing payloads to reduce microbial fitness and improve treatment outcomes, guided by trauma surgeon Dr. Sean Monaghan.

Brandon has also served as an innovation fellow at Brown University and an entrepreneurship fellow at Celdara Medical, where he gained experience assessing the commercial potential of emerging biotech and medtech intellectual property.
