Craig Martin is a Professor of Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he leads research on RNA synthesis and enzyme mechanisms. His work focuses on developing new, mechanism-informed methods for producing high-purity RNA from the outset.
With deep expertise in transcription biology, Craig’s lab has explored every stage of the T7 RNA polymerase process, from promoter binding to termination. He is also Co-Founder of Waterfall Scientific, a company bringing next-generation RNA manufacturing techniques to the broader biotech and pharmaceutical industries.
