BIOGRAPHY

Hongfeng Deng is the Vice President of Chemistry at Sanofi’s mRNA Center of Excellence, where she leads the global platform chemistry team. Her group focuses on designing innovative lipids and LNP components for nucleic acid delivery, as well as synthesizing novel nucleotides that improve RNA translation efficiency and stability.

Hongfeng brings more than two decades of medicinal chemistry expertise, having held leadership roles at major pharmaceutical companies including GSK, Daiichi, and Bristol Myers Squibb. She now applies this background to advance vaccines and therapeutics.
