BIOGRAPHY

Jay Stella is the Chief Business Officer and acting Chief Financial Officer of Strand Therapeutics, a programmable messenger RNA therapeutics company based in Boston. He has worked in the biotech and pharma industry for more than 20 years across multiple disciplines, usually at the intersection of strategy, finance, and business.

Jay was previously SVP of Corporate Strategy and Business Development at Akouos, Inc., playing an instrumental role in the sale of the company to Eli Lilly. He has also held roles at Sai Life Sciences, Takeda, Millennium, Biogen, and Genetics Institute.
