Xijun Piao is the Vice President of Technology at CATUG Biotechnology, with over 15 years of experience in RNA research, drug delivery, and process development. He oversees the process development, analytical development, and tech transfer of clients' mRNA pipelines at different stages, ensuring scalable and efficient manufacturing workflows.

Xijun previously served as the Associate Director at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical, a US-based rare disease company, where he established new-generation mRNA processes and developed innovative approaches to reduce dsRNA impurities. He brings deep expertise in advancing mRNA manufacturing from development through commercialization.
