Biography

Dan Shores is a partner at Rothwell Figg and founder of its Boston office. He serves companies in dynamic biotech and other markets, leading teams in building patent portfolios, negotiating strategic collaborations, conducting due diligence, and litigating complex patent disputes. Throughout his 18-year career, he has worked with technologies like mRNA, lipid nanoparticles, CAR-T therapies, CRISPR, oligonucleotides, and AI for drug discovery.

Dan is a registered patent attorney, admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the District of Columbia, and active in the Intellectual Property Owners Association.
