Biography
Kate Jeffrey is the Vice President of Immune Therapeutics at Moderna. She leads Moderna's efforts in discovering and developing therapeutic and preventive treatments for autoimmune, inflammatory, and hematological diseases using the company's proprietary mRNA technology.
Before joining Moderna, Kate directed an academic lab at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Her research focuses on how epigenetic and environmental changes drive immune diseases, with the goal of developing targeted therapies. She is also the co-founder of the Imagine Science Film Festival and a TEDx speaker.
